Returns & Refunds Policy

We want you to be stoked with your Unity MMA gear. If something's not right, we'll make it right.
Your Rights Under NZ Law
Your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 are not affected by this policy. If a product is faulty, not fit for purpose, or doesn't match its description, you're entitled to a remedy regardless of this policy.
30-Day Returns
Changed your mind? No worries. You can return most items within 30 days of delivery for a refund or exchange.
Conditions for Returns
To be eligible for a return, items must be:
Unworn and unused
In original condition with all tags attached
In original packaging (where applicable)
Accompanied by proof of purchase
Items That Cannot Be Returned
For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on:
Mouthguards (opened or used)
Groin guards and protective cups (opened)
Rashguards, compression wear, or undergarments that have been worn
Custom or personalised items
Items marked as "Final Sale"
These items can still be returned if faulty under the Consumer Guarantees Act.
How to Return an Item
Email us at info@unitymma.co.nz with your order number, the item(s) you want to return, and the reason for return (optional, but helps us improve)
We'll respond within 1-2 business days with return instructions and the delivery address
Post the item back to us (return shipping is at your cost for change-of-mind returns)
Receive your refund or exchange once we've received and inspected the item
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return:
• Approved refunds are processed within 5 business days
• Refunds are issued to your original payment method
• Please allow 3-5 additional business days for the refund to appear in your account
Refund Amounts
• Change of mind returns: Original item price refunded (original shipping costs are not refunded)
• Faulty items: Full refund including any shipping costs you paid
Exchanges
Want a different size or colour? We're happy to exchange:

Let us know what you'd like instead
If there's a price difference, we'll sort out any additional payment or refund
If the item you want is out of stock, we'll offer a refund or let you choose an alternative.
Faulty or Damaged Items
If your item arrives damaged or develops a fault:
Contact us immediately at info@unitymma.co.nz
Include photos of the fault or damage
We'll arrange a replacement, repair, or refund at no cost to you
Under the Consumer Guarantees Act, you're entitled to:
• A replacement or refund for major faults
• A repair for minor faults (or replacement/refund if repair isn't possible in a reasonable time)
Wrong Item Received
Mistakes happen. If we've sent you the wrong item:
Email us with your order number and a photo of what you received
We'll send the correct item ASAP and arrange return of the wrong one at our cost

Sale Items
Items purchased on sale can be returned under the same conditions as full-price items, unless marked as "Final Sale."
Gift Returns
Received a gift that's not quite right? Contact us and we can arrange an exchange or store credit. The original purchaser will not be notified.
